Since inception of his career he is associated with BASIX Group, his expertise in implementing the process of integrated solid waste management including composition and recycling has been a big success in Indore. He has experienced with near about 40 ULBs, 14 townships and NTPC - Simhadri, Visakhapatnam, NTPC - Sipat, Bilaspur, Chattisgarh and Municipal Committee of Budgam, Municipal Corporation of Srinagar - J&K, and Meerut Citizen Forum.

Mr. Jagtap plays a vital role in making strategies for Swachha Survekshan every year for various ULBs especially for Indore Municipal Corporation. He is associated with Indore Municipal Corporation since 2010 and got done various successful Survekshan like Garbage Free Cities, ODF, ODF ++, Water Plus, Star Rating and achieved no. 01 status of the “ Indore a Cleanest City in India in a row for the 5th time in Swachhata Ranking also “5 Star Rating” in Star Rating of Cities in India. Vijay Bahadur Singh, M.S.W. in Sociology
